What are HPL panels?

HPL panels (known locally as Fundermax and Trespa) combine durability, aesthetics, and longevity, making them a reliable solution for cladding façades, tables, kitchens, and bathrooms.

They are produced by saturating multiple layers of kraft paper with phenolic resin, while a decorative paper impregnated with melamine resin is applied on the surface and protected with a transparent layer. Heat and pressure bond the layers into a solid laminate sheet, during which the resin hardens and the paper becomes a single, durable laminate. This process creates strong, irreversible bonds, making HPL panels ideal for high-traffic areas.
